Since birth, Seraphina has had a natural affinity for solar magic. She was gifted at a young age and her efforts had not gone by unnoticed, giving her the chance to become a mentee underneath a well-established shaman.Though it remains as speculation and rumors, there is gossip amongst her old tribe that a jealous individual had cursed her with black magic — in doing so, causing a temporary shift to her affinity from solar into lunar. This shift is so drastic and quick, that it causes a complete change in personality and an altered form — an aggressive variant of Seraphina would emerge during a solar eclipse, when the sun is completely blotted out by the moon.Since her affliction, she has trained herself from day-in to day-out before setting foot outside of her homeland. Though she wished to stay, there was the fear that she would hurt those she loved and cherished back home.Over the years, she had eventually founded The Sunlit Ward, a safe haven for those to rest at and recover. She has also wandered into "The Dead Zones", which is lands blighted by dark magic to the point of causing rot and decay — venturing out in rescue missions to save whomever she can from those areas.Though she wishes to spread healing to as many that she can reach, Seraphina has also been desperately in search of a cure in secret during her adventures.
